Job Title: Senior Pastor, Full-time Position

Description:

Highland ParkBaptistChurch, a church rich in tradition, is currently seeking a Senior Pastor to lead our congregation.  It is a place where salvation, forgiveness, healing, and growth are foundational to our purpose: spreading the love of Jesus to the world.  HPBC has a passion for missions both locally and worldwide.  The Senior Pastor, who will be called to be the overseer of all aspects of the church, has a primary focus in prayer, study, and love for preaching the Word.  The Senior Pastor will be working in a blended service of both traditional and contemporary styles of music and will be leading a congregation that includes both young and elderly members.     

 Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of Senior Pastor experience, a four-year undergraduate degree, and a Master of Divinity, or its equivalent, from an accredited seminary.  The ideal candidate should also be willing to work closely with the Deacon Board and the Finance Committee on major issues in the church.
